Ham, Pineapple & Swiss Empanadas

  1. Combine 2 cups pineapple and 1/4 cup barbecue sauce (or 1/2 cup pineapple and 1 Tbsp.
  2. barbecue sauce for trial recipe); set aside.
  3. Brush each dough piece with 1/2 Tbsp.
  4. barbecue sauce.
  5. Fill each with 1 Tbsp.
  6. each ham and pineapple mixture, and 2/3 Tbsp.
  7. cheese.
  8. Fold dough over filling into half-circle; crimp dough to seal.
  9. Place on parchment paper-lined sheet pans.
  10. Bake in 350 degrees F standard oven 10 to 15 min.
  11. or until golden brown.
  12. Meanwhile, prepare Barbecue Salsa by combining ingredients.
  13. Serve 2 empanadas with 1 Tbsp.
  14. Barbecue Salsa.
