Easy Lasagna
- 1 lb. ground beef or sausage mixture
- 2 (28 oz.) cans tomatoes
- 1 (7 1/2 oz.) can tomato sauce
- 1/4 tsp. garlic salt
- 1 envelope spaghetti sauce mix
- 1 c. Ricotta or cottage cheese
- 1 egg
- 1/2 c. grated Parmesan cheese
- 6 oz. shredded Mozzarella cheese
- 8 oz. wide lasagna noodles (raw)
- Brown meat in frying pan, breaking up any lumps.
- Add next four ingredients.
- Bring to boil and simmer for 10 minutes.
- In small mixing bowl, mix Ricotta or cottage cheese, egg and Parmesan cheese.
- Put a little of the meat sauce in bottom of a 9 x 13-inch baking dish, then start alternating layers as follows:
- layer of raw noodles, 1/3 meat sauce, 1/2 of cheese mixture, repeat and then top with last of 1/3 of meat sauce.
