Florentines

  1. Combine the butter, sugar and honey in a small saucepan over medium-low heat until sugar dissolves.
  2. Combine the corn flakes, almonds, sultanas, cherries and flour in a large bowl.
  3. Add the butter mixture and mix until well combined.
  4. Place tablespoons of mixture onto lined baking trays, allowing room for some spreading.
  5. Bake at 180C for 8 minutes or until golden.
  6. Allow to cool completely on trays (when cool enough to touch, gently push florentines into round shapes).
  7. Drizzle or spread the cooled florentines with melted Toblerone* and allow to set.
