Florentines
- 60g butter
- 1/4 cup caster sugar
- 1/4 cup honey
- 2 1/2 cups corn flakes, lightly crushed
- 125g packet (1 cup) flaked almonds, toasted
- 3/4 cup sultanas
- 100g packet (1/2 cup) red glace cherries, roughly chopped
- 1/3 cup flour
- 200g TOBLERONE* Milk or Dark Chocolate, melted
- Combine the butter, sugar and honey in a small saucepan over medium-low heat until sugar dissolves.
- Combine the corn flakes, almonds, sultanas, cherries and flour in a large bowl.
- Add the butter mixture and mix until well combined.
- Place tablespoons of mixture onto lined baking trays, allowing room for some spreading.
- Bake at 180C for 8 minutes or until golden.
- Allow to cool completely on trays (when cool enough to touch, gently push florentines into round shapes).
- Drizzle or spread the cooled florentines with melted Toblerone* and allow to set.
