Greek Style Grilled Chicken Sandwiches

  1. Combine the chicken, yogurt, garlic, cumin, salt, and pepper in a zip-lock bag, removing the extra air.
  2. Cover and marinate the meat for 4 to 24 hours.
  3. Preheat a grill on medium.
  4. Remove the chicken from the marinade and wipe away some of the yogurt.
  5. Then place the meat on the grill.
  6. Cook 10 - 15 minutes a side, until the chicken is well charred on the outside and fully cooked.
  7. Remove the chicken from the grill and let rest for at least 5 - 10 minutes.
  8. In the meantime, toast the pitas on the grill for 30 seconds.
  9. Once the chicken has cooled slightly, slice it very thin with a sharp knife and serve with the warm pitas, tomatoes, onion and hummus.
  10. Makes 6 servings.
