Chocolate Macaroons Recipe
- 1 (18.5 ounce.) pkg. devils food cake mix with pudding
- 1 c. flaked coconut, toasted
- 1/2 c. reg. oats, uncooked and toasted
- 3/4 c. butter, melted
- 2 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 Large eggs, slightly beaten
- 6 (1.45 ounce.) lowfat milk chocolate candy bars, broken into squares
- 3/4 c. flaked coconut
- Combine first 6 ingredients; refrigerate30 min.
- Drop dough by heaping teaspoonfuls 2 inches apart on ungreased cookie sheets.
- Bake at 350 degrees for 10 min.
- Immediately top each cookie with one chocolate square; spread to frost.
- Sprinkle cookies with coconut.
- Yield: About 6 dozen.
