Sophie's sausage, bean and Guinness stew
- 240 grams kidney beans (drained weight)
- 240 grams rosecoco beans (drained weight)
- 4 clove of garlic, finely sliced
- 400 grams chopped tomatoes
- 1 vegetable stock cube
- 8 sausages
- 1 red onion, coarsely chopped.
- 160 ml Guinness or similar stout type beer
- Brown your sausages and onions in a pan.
- Add the sliced garlic about a minute before the end.
- Add the rest of your ingredients into your slow cooker and mix together.
- Transfer your sausages, onion and garlic to the slow cooker and stir through.
- Cook on low for 6-8 hours.
- Serve and enjoy!
