Daddy's Mild Chili Dip Casserole

  1. preheat oven to 350
  2. slice cheese into 1/4 inch strips.
  3. in a one quart casserole dish spread cream cheese with back of spoon so the bottom and 3/4 up the side are evenly coated with cream cheese.
  4. spread half of the chili on top of the cream cheese.
  5. spread half of the green chiles next.
  6. then half of the black olives
  7. then add one layer of the monterey cheese so all is covered
  8. repeat steps 4 thru 7 using Rest of ingredients.
  9. bake for about 30-40 minutes.
  10. dish should be bubbly and heated throughout.
  11. place some tortilla chips on a plate or elongated bowl.
  12. place a big scoop of the chili dip next to chips.
  13. serve !
  14. can be made as a meal.. our double the recipe to a 2 quart dish and now you have an awesome appetizer for a party!
  15. also great served with a dollop of sour cream on top.
  16. to cook in microwave.
  17. follow directions using a microwave safe dish.
  18. heat on high power for 8-10 minutes or until heated through.
