Pineapple Apple Betty Recipe

  1. Preheat oven to 450 degrees.
  2. Drain 1/4 juice from pineapple into a small saucepan, set aside.
  3. Sprinkle gelatin over juice.
  4. Heat, till gelatin dissolves.
  5. Add in liquid removed pineapple, sweetener and pumpkin pie spice.
  6. Combine mix and minced apples in a large bowl; spoon into an 8"x8" non stick pan.
  7. In small bowl, combine lowfat milk, sweetener and spice; sprinkle over apple mix.
  8. Sprinkle water proportionately on top.
  9. Bake 30 min.
  10. Makes 6 servings.
  11. Equal to 1 fruit and 1/2 c. lowfat milk.
