Dark Chocolate Pumpkin Butter
- 1 (15 ounce) canpure pumpkin puree
- 12 cup apple juice
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 14 teaspoon clove
- 14 teaspoon nutmeg
- 13 cup light brown sugar, packed
- 1 ounce bittersweet chocolate, chopped
- 14 teaspoon vanilla extract
- Combine all ingredients together in a small saucepan over medium heat.
- Bring to a slight boil.
- Reduce heat to low and continue to cook, stirring occasionally for 30 minutes or until butter thickens.
- Allow to cool to room temperature, spread on toast, crackers or use as a dip for fruit.
- Store any leftovers in a covered container for up to a week.
