Sweet Treats
- 1 packages marshmellows
- 1/3 cup butter
- 6 cup sweetened cereal (cereal of your chioce)
- 2 1/2 cup chocolate chunks
- 3/4 cup chopped nuts
- In a large cooking pot melt down butter on medium making sure it doesn't boil.
- On a cookie sheet cover with wax paper.
- Or you can lightly grease a brownie pan with butter or cooking spray so it doesn't stick.
- Add marshmallows to the butter making sure the mellows are melted down until creamy.
- (small marshmallow clumps are okay)
- Turn the heat off.
- Add your cereal, fold into marshmellow cream until eavenly mixed.
- once it has slightly cooled down add the chocolate chunks and nuts(optional), Mix in evenly
- spread the mixture evenly on the cookie sheet to about quarter to a half inch thick.
- Cover and let it cool for about a half hour to 45 min.
- Cut into desired shapes or into traditional squares, enjoy!
- note: if you let 'em cool in the fridge don't let it sit longer than 10 min it may become harder to cut and eat.
- For fun try adding chocolate chunks on the wax paper to have melted chocolate candy bottoms or add on top!
