Brandy Fruit And Nut Cake

  1. Combine fruit and nuts.
  2. Mix well.
  3. Mix dry ingredients well. Add to fruit and nuts; coat well.
  4. Beat eggs until frothy; add brandy.
  5. Add to mixture; mix well.
  6. Pour batter into 9 x 15-inch tube pan that has been greased and floured.
  7. Bake at 300u0b0 for 1 hour and 45 minutes.
  8. Cool in pan; remove from pan; wrap in cloth that has been dampened with 1/4 tablespoon brandy.
  9. Wrap in foil; place in refrigerator a couple of days.
  10. Unwrap; dampen cloth with water, no more brandy.
  11. Rewrap and set in refrigerator at least a week.
  12. Very very good.
  13. Not too boozy.
