Cheeseburger Soup

  1. In 5 quart pot, brown beef, drain & set aside.
  2. Saute onions, carrots, celery and basil in same pan about 5 minutes.
  3. Stir in flour and add broth, potatoes and beef.
  4. Cover, reduce heat and simmer until potatoes are tender, about 15 minutes.
  5. Add cheese, milk, salt & pepper.
  6. Cook and stir until cheese melts.
  7. Remove from heat and blend in sour cream.
