Creamy Asparagus with Bacon

  1. Cook bacon in large skillet until crisp.
  2. Remove from skillet, reserving 1 Tbsp.
  3. drippings in skillet.
  4. Drain bacon on paper towels.
  5. Place asparagus in microwaveable casserole.
  6. Add water; cover with waxed paper.
  7. Microwave on HIGH 4 to 5 min.
  8. or until asparagus is crisp-tender.
  9. Meanwhile, cook and stir onions in reserved drippings 5 min.
  10. or until crisp-tender.
  11. Add Neufchatel, dressing and milk; cook 3 to 5 min.
  12. or until Neufchatel is melted and sauce is slightly thickened, stirring frequently.
  13. Drain asparagus; place on platter.
  14. Drizzle with sauce.
  15. Crumble bacon; sprinkle over asparagus.
