Creamy Asparagus with Bacon
- 3 slices OSCAR MAYER Bacon Rite Aid 2 For $7.00 thru 02/06
- 1-1/2 lb. fresh asparagus spears, trimmed
- 1 Tbsp. water
- 1/2 cup chopped onions King Sooper's 1 lb For $0.99 thru 02/09
- 2 oz. (1/4 of 8-oz. pkg.) PHILADELPHIA Neufchatel Cheese, cubed
- 2 Tbsp. KRAFT Classic Ranch Dressing
- 2 Tbsp. fat-free milk
- Cook bacon in large skillet until crisp.
- Remove from skillet, reserving 1 Tbsp.
- drippings in skillet.
- Drain bacon on paper towels.
- Place asparagus in microwaveable casserole.
- Add water; cover with waxed paper.
- Microwave on HIGH 4 to 5 min.
- or until asparagus is crisp-tender.
- Meanwhile, cook and stir onions in reserved drippings 5 min.
- or until crisp-tender.
- Add Neufchatel, dressing and milk; cook 3 to 5 min.
- or until Neufchatel is melted and sauce is slightly thickened, stirring frequently.
- Drain asparagus; place on platter.
- Drizzle with sauce.
- Crumble bacon; sprinkle over asparagus.
