Easy Sweet Bean Paste Buns with a Bread Maker

  1. Put the A ingredients into a bread maker.
  2. Start the "dough course" and wait until the 1st rising is finished.
  3. Remove from the bread maker and roll into a ball.
  4. Cover with a bowl and let it sit for 20 minutes.
  5. Divide into 12 portions and roll into balls again.
  6. Cover with a tightly wrung out kitchen towel to prevent them from drying.
  7. Wrap your desired amount of sweet red bean paste with the dough.
  8. Seal the seams together completely.
  9. Position the rolls with the seam side down.
  10. (Please leave enough space between the balls to allow them to double in size.)
  11. Let them rise (2nd rising) for about 40 minutes until they double in size.
  12. Preheat the oven to 200C.
  13. In the mean time, Mix the B ingredients well, and brush with this mixture evenly all over.
  14. Reduce the oven temperature to 190C, and bake for about 15 minutes, then they're done.
  15. It's also a great idea to set aside about 2 balls of bread without filling them with sweet red bean paste to use as decoration instead.
  16. Or like this.

bread, egg, sugar, salt, yeast, butter, milk, bean paste, egg yolk, water
