Sausage And Cornbread Dressing Recipe

  1. Simmer giblets in seasoned water to that celery and onion has been added.
  2. Cook till tender.
  3. Cook sausage.
  4. Drain off drippings.
  5. Combine sausage, cornbread and poultry seasoning in a large bowl.
  6. Saute/fry onions, celery and mushrooms in tsp.
  7. of sausage fat for 5 min.
  8. Add in to sausage and cornbread.
  9. Mix lightly; add in nuts, apples and broth till moistened.
  10. Dressing may be baked in fowl or possibly in a separate dish.
  11. Bake 350 degrees for 45 min.
