Sausage With Brown Onion Gravy.

  1. Brown the onions with the garlic and chillies in a preheated pot with the olive oil.
  2. Add the tomatoes, green bell pepper, origanum, onion powder, salt and pepper.
  3. Simmer for 60 minutes.
  4. Mix together your brown onion soup mix, cream and vegetable stock.
  5. Add to the onions.
  6. Simmer for 15mins.
  7. In the meantime fry the sausage in a frying pan, then cut to portion size and set aside
  8. Add the sausage to the onion mixture and simmer for a further 10 minutes
  9. Best served with potato and carrot mash.
