Barbecued Beef Ribs Recipe
- 2 pound lean beef ribs
- 1/4 c. peach preserves
- 1/2 c. water
- Juice of 1 lemon
- 1 1/2 tbsp. brown sugar
- 1 tbsp. vinegar
- 1/2 teaspoon paprika
- Freshly grnd black pepper
- 2 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
- Place the ribs on a rack in a shallow baking pan and roast at 450 degrees for 30 min.
- In a small saucepan, combine all remaining ingredients and cook over medium heat till thickened, stirring constantly.
- Set sauce aside.
- Remove the ribs and rack from pan and pour off the fat.
- Reduce oven heat to 350 degrees.
- Return ribs to the pan, and pour the sauce over them.
- Bake uncovered, basting occasionally, till ribs are tender, about 1 hour.
- 4 servings.
