Milk Sponge Cake

  1. Sift together the flour and baking powder; set aside.
  2. Beat eggs until very thick and light, about 3 to 5 minutes.
  3. Gradually beat in sugar.
  4. Fold in sifted dry ingredients until blended.
  5. Combine milk and flavorings and heat until hot.
