Grilled cheese pizza samwhich

  1. (For the marinara sauce) heat up a small sauce pan with a lid and place in onions, garlic, and oregano.
  2. Put in the tomato sauce, garlic powder/pepper and bay leaf, cover and cook 5-8 minutes
  3. (to assemble samwhiches) spread butter on one half of a slice of bread, turn over and add marinara sauce to the unbuttered side, sprinkle on mozzarella then lay down about 5-7 slices of pepperoni, sprinkle on more cheese then set on a pan at medium-high heat.
  4. Quickly spread butter on another slice of bread, add marinara to the unbuttered side, then place the slice, marinara side down on the cheese.
  5. Cook 2 minutes on each side, or until the bread is golden brown and the cheese is melted.
  6. I was able to feed 6 people 2 slices each with this recipe
