Barbecue Ribs (Country) Recipe
- 8 to 10 lbs. country ribs
- 2 Packages onion soup mix
- 3 c. water
- 2 c. catsup
- 2 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic salt
- 2 teaspoon oregano (grnd)
- 8 tbsp. brown sugar
- 1.
- Cut all fat off which you can.
- Mix all sauce ingredients.
- Bring to boil and turn to simmer for 15 min, stirring often.
- 2.
- Reserve about 1 1/2 c..
- 3.
- Pour all other sauce over ribs to marinate all night.
- The next morning turn ribs over to marinate till ready to bake.
- 4.
- Place ribs on a rack in a pan and bake 350 degrees for 3 hrs.
- Brush sauce over ribs about every 1/2 hour.
- These are very good and lean, all fat is either cut off or possibly baked off.
