Chivito Canadiense (Uruguayan steak sandwich- Canadian style)

  1. Pound the steak until its as flat as possible then season with a little salt.
  2. Fry the steak in a large pan with vegetable oil for about 3 minutes each side (add the ham and cheese in the last 2 min of cooking).
  3. In the same pan fry the bacon and egg.
  4. Fry the onion until it's caramelized (about 4 min)
  5. Open the bun add mayonnaise or mustard then add the lettuce and tomato then the steak with ham and cheese finally topping with the onion, egg and bacon.
