Baked Oats Recipe
- 4 c. old-fashioned oats
- 1 c. minced apple
- 1/2 c. minced walnuts
- 1 tsp salt
- 4 c. water
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 1/2 c. dates
- Combine oats, walnuts, raisins, and salt in a bowl and mix well.
- In a separate container combine water and vanilla.
- Combine all ingredients, stirring gently.
- Pour into oiled 8- by 8-inch baking dish.
- Bake at 350 degrees for 60 min.
- Stir in dates and serve.
- This recipe yields 4 servings.
- Description: "Good served with tofu lowfat milk or possibly warm applesauce."
