Caramelized Garlic & Onion Chicken

  1. Heat oven to 400 degrees F.
  2. Melt butter in large skillet on medium heat.
  3. Add onions; cover.
  4. Cook 9 min.
  5. or until onions are tender, uncovering after 3 min.
  6. and stirring frequently.
  7. Stir in garlic; cook 8 to 10 min.
  8. or until onions are golden brown, stirring occasionally.
  9. Stir in 3 Tbsp.
  10. steak sauce and sugar; cook and stir 2 min.
  11. Place chicken in shallow baking dish.
  12. Mix remaining steak sauce and mustard; spread over chicken.
  13. Top with onions.
  14. Bake 30 min.
  15. or until chicken is done (165 degrees F).
  16. Serve topped with cheese and sauce from bottom of dish.
