Mushroom sauce
- 5 mushrooms
- 2 tbsp gravy powder
- 1 cup water
- 200 ml red wine
- 2 tbsp butter
- Cut mushrooms into thin slices
- Boil water and make a slurry with your gravy powder then add to boiling water to make a gravy.
- While gravy is slowly simmering put your red wine in separate pot and cook out for 5 mins or until alcohol is out
- Once red wine has cooked down add your now thicker gravy to your red wine and stir through and sit aside
- Now in pan add your butter and mushrooms and cook through until mushrooms are solf
- Once mushrooms are soft add your gravy you had sitting aside and let simmer for 3 mins so mushroom flavour goes though gravy then Walla!
- Mushroom sauce is done.
- Cook until ur thickness of sauce is liked
