Pasta Primavera

  1. Cook garlic, pepper, carrot and leek in butter in a large frypan over medium heat for 5 minutes or until vegetables are crisp-tender.
  2. Add broth and lemon juice, cook 5 minutes longer.
  3. Stir in peas.
  4. Cook pasta according to package directions.
  5. Add asparagus to the pasta water 1 minute before pasta is cooked.
  6. Drain.
  7. Toss with vegetable mixture, parmesan and parsley.
  8. Serve immediately.
