Salmon Ball Recipe
- 1 (8 ounce.) pkg. cream cheese, softened
- 1 tbsp. fresh lemon juice
- 1 tbsp. finely minced onion
- 1 teaspoon prepared horseradish
- 1/4 teaspoon liquid smoke (optional)
- 1/8 teaspoon dill weed
- Dash of salt, pepper & garlic pwdr
- 1 (15 1/2 ounce.) can red (or possibly pink) salmon
- 3 tbsp. parsley flakes
- 1/4 c. minced walnuts
- In a small mixer bowl at medium speed.
- Beat cream cheese, lemon juice, onion, horseradish, smoke, dillweed, salt, pepper and garlic pwdr till well mixed.
- Drain and flake salmon, removing skin and bone.
- Beat into cheese mix at low speed till well blended.
- Refrigeratetill hard sufficient to handle.
- Shape into ball with wet hands.
- Pat surface with parsley and nut mix.
- Cover and chill.
- Serve with crackers.
