Easy Pork Chops and Rice (Flavorful)

  1. Place rice in bottom of 9x13 pan.
  2. Add the soup, beef consomme, and seasonings.
  3. Add onion and the pork chops.
  4. Top each chop with a bell pepper ring.
  5. Bake at 400 degrees for 20 minutes, covered.
  6. Remove cover, continue to bake an additional 30 minute.
  7. Note: I always season my chops with cajun seasoning and brown them slightly and wilt my onions in the same skillet.
  8. THE ABOVE IS NOT NEEDED, IT'S JUST SOMETHING I DO OUT OF HABIT.
  9. I stir all other ingredients and the onions together and lay chops with pepper rings on top.
  10. The consomme is salty so I try not to be too heavy handed with the salt.
  11. I use plenty of garlic powder.

rice, beef consomme, cream of mushroom soup, onion, salt, pepper, worcestershire sauce, garlic, pork chops, green pepper
