Peanut butter Chocolate chip cheesecake Bars
- 1 stick butter (soften)
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 cup peanut butter
- 1 cup flour
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 cup rolled oats
- 2 cup chocolate chips
- 8 oz cream cheese (soften)
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 2 egg
- 1 cup white sugar
- preheat oven to 325.
- Cream butter, 1/2 cup white sugar, brown sugar and peanut butter.
- Add 1egg and beat well.
- In a separate bowl mix flour, baking soda and salt.
- Gradually add flour mixture to sugar mixture.
- Mix well
- Stir in oats and chocolate.
- Press half of the prepared cookie dough in a greased 9-inch square baking dish.
- Now to make the cheesecake layer; Cream the cheese, 1egg, remaining white sugar and vanilla until smooth.
- Pour over pressed cookie dough.
- Crumble the remaining cookie dough and sprinkle over cheese layer.
- Cover with foil and bake for 20 min
- Remove foil and bake for another 20 minutes or until cheesecake layer has set.
- This can be served warm but, it tastes amazing if you refrigerate and serve cold.
- The flavors blend well and a more explosive when chilled
