Australian Veggie Burger
- 1 large hamburger buns cut in half, lightly toast and butter toasted flat surfaces.
- 1 tablespoon sauce any your favortie
- 1 each hamburger patties vegetarian, cooked, see the linked recipes below
- 1 slice pineapple lightly fried or grilled
- 1/2 cup onions caramelized
- 1/2 cup mushrooms sauteed with a bit oil and minced garlic
- 1 slice tomatoes
- 1/4 cup lettuce shredded
- 1 slice beets roasted or canned, cut into rounds
- 1 large eggs fried slowly in a metal egg frying ring
- Spread the sauce evenly on the bottom half of the hamburger bun.
- Place the veggie patty over the sauce, then arrange the grilled pineapple ring on top of the veggie patty.
- Spoon the caramelized onion over the pineapple slice.
- Next place the tomato slice, then top with sauteed mushrooms.
- Arrange the roasted beets on top of the mushrooms.
- Finally place the fried egg on top, and sprinkle with the shredded lettuce.
- Serve with dilled pickle and more sauce if needed.
