New Classic Beef Casserole
- 1 pkg. (6 oz.) STOVE TOP Herb Seasoned Stuffing Mix
- 3 Tbsp. flour
- 1-1/2 cups milk
- 2 zucchini, sliced
- 1 red pepper, chopped
- 1 cup KRAFT Shredded Cheddar Cheese
- 1-1/2 lb. boneless beef sirloin steak, cut into 6 pieces Whole Foods 1 lb For $7.99 thru 02/09
- 1 tsp. oil
- Heat oven to 350F.
- Prepare stuffing as directed on package.
- Whisk flour and milk in large microwaveable bowl until blended.
- Microwave on HIGH 4 min., stirring after 2 min.
- Add vegetables and cheese; mix well.
- Cook meat in hot oil in large nonstick skillet on medium-high heat 3 to 5 min.
- on each side or each piece is browned on both sides.
- Place in 13x9-inch baking dish; top with vegetable mixture and stuffing.
- Bake 25 to 30 min.
- or until meat is medium doneness (160 degrees F).
