Havregryns Konfect ( Oatmeal Confection)

  1. Grind the oats to fine flour (we have normally done this in a meat mincer), melt the butter over very gentle heat or in the microwave oven at low setting.
  2. (do not brown) add the ground oat meal, sugar, almond essence, cream and cocoa, mix well and place in fridge to cool.
  3. When cold roll into balls about 16 mm diameter and coat with sugar.
  4. Store in fridge.
