Cajun Sausage Jambalaya
- 2 cups Uncle Ben's converted brand rice (uncooked)
- 12 cup butter
- 116 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
- 12 cup parsley, chopped
- 2 bay leaves
- 2 lbs smoked sausage
- 1 green pepper, chopped
- 6 shallots, chopped
- 1 (10 1/2 ounce) can French onion soup
- 1 (10 1/2 ounce) can beef broth
- 1 (8 ounce) can tomato sauce
- 1 (8 ounce) can water (use tomato can)
- Put all ingredients into a covered dish and either bake at 375 for 1 hour and 15 minutes or into a crock pot for6-8 hours on low.
