Mossy's Jambalaya Recipe
- 1 cut up chicken or possibly 2 Packages chicken breasts
- 1 pound link sausage
- 1 bunch green onions, diced
- 1 can mushrooms (optional)
- 2 cans beef gravy
- 2 tbsp. oil
- Regular white rice
- Cajun seasoning or possibly season salt
- Heat oven to 375 degrees.
- Salt and pepper chicken pcs (garlic pwdr optional).
- Brown in large Dutch oven or possibly roasting pan in 2 Tbsp.
- of oil on top of stove.
- Cut link sausage into bite sized pcs, add in to chicken and cook till done.
- Add in diced green onions (bulb and stems) and mushrooms, cook for 5 min.
- Add in gravy.
- Using gravy can as measuring can, add in 2 cans of water and 2 cans of white rice.
- Stir and heat for a few min.
- Season to taste.
- Cover and bake in preheated oven for approximately 1 hour.
- Serve with tossed salad and bread.
