For Doll Festival Cute Sushi Balls
- 700 grams Plain cooked rice
- 2 tbsp Sushi vinegar
- 1 pack Assorted store-bought sashimi
- 1 Egg
- Make the sushi rice by mixing the sushi vinegar into some freshly made rice and flapping a fan over it quickly to cool.
- Put the egg in a bowl and beat well.
- Lightly oil a tamagoyaki pan and make an egg crepe.
- Shape the sushi rice into large bite-sized balls.
- Sashimi sushi balls: Put plastic wrap in your left hand and put the filling on top, then put a rice ball from Step 3 on top of that, and wrap as you shape it.
- Egg sushi balls: Make the sushi rice from Step 3 into a barrel shape, then wrap up in the egg crepe from Step 2.
- If you use the stem from boiled mitsuba to tie them up, it looks real nice!
