Quick & Easy Chocolate Frosting
- 3 ounces chocolate unsweetened baking chocolate, unsweetened, broken into pieces
- 1 cup marshmallows miniature
- 13 cup milk
- 1/2 cup butter or margarine, softened
- 2 1/2 cups sugar powdered
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
- In medium saucepan over low heat, melt chocolate, stirring constantly.
- Add marshmallows; stir frequently until melted.
- (Mixture will be very thick and will pull away from sides of pan.)
- Spoon mixture into small mixer bowl; beat in butter.
- Add milk very gradually, beating until smooth.
- Gradually add powdered sugar and vanilla; beat to desired consistency.
- About 2 1/4 cups frosting.
