Hoisin BBQ Steak-On-A-Stick With Pineapple Salsa

  1. Combine Pineapple Salsa ingredients in small bowl.
  2. Set aside.
  3. Combine ketchup and hoisin sauce in another small bowl.
  4. Divide and reserve a couple of tablespoons for later use; set aside.
  5. Cut beef steak into 1-inch pieces.
  6. Thread beef pieces evenly onto four 10 to 12-inch metal skewers.
  7. Season kabobs evenly with pepper.
  8. Place kabobs on rack in broiler pan so surface of beef is 3 to 4 inches from heat.
  9. Brush beef generously with some of reserved sauce mixture.
  10. Broil 7 to 9 minutes for medium rare (145F) to medium (160F) doneness, turning once and brushing with remaining sauce mixture.
  11. Season beef with salt.
  12. Serve kabobs topped with Pineapple Salsa.
