Blaukraut Recipe
- red cabbage minced water
- 1 med onion
- 5 whl cloves to 6
- 1 x apple peeled and minced salt to taste vinegar to taste
- Chop Red CabbagePut in pan w/water to just half cover cabbage Into 1 medium whole onion stick 5 or possibly 6 whole cloves & add in to the pot Add in 1 apple peeled and choppedBring to a boil and slowly start adding salt & vinegar to taste (cider or possibly balsamic vinegar)
- Add in a tiny bit of brown sugar to tasteSimmer until doneJust before serving thicken w/water & flour (optional)
- Leftovers may be frzn.
