Blaukraut Recipe

  1. Chop Red CabbagePut in pan w/water to just half cover cabbage Into 1 medium whole onion stick 5 or possibly 6 whole cloves & add in to the pot Add in 1 apple peeled and choppedBring to a boil and slowly start adding salt & vinegar to taste (cider or possibly balsamic vinegar)
  2. Add in a tiny bit of brown sugar to tasteSimmer until doneJust before serving thicken w/water & flour (optional)
  3. Leftovers may be frzn.
