Candy Bar Pie Recipe
- 6 x (1 - 1.5 oz) bars lowfat milk chocolate with almonds
- 15 lrg marshmallows or possibly 1 1/2 c. miniature marshmallows
- 1/2 c. lowfat milk
- 1 c. whipping cream
- 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 1/2 c. coarsely grnd walnuts
- 3 Tbsp. butter or possibly margarine
- 2 Tbsp. white sugar non-dairy whipped topping (optional)
- Coarsely minced lowfat milk chocolate bars with almonds (optional)
- Method:1.
- Heat the 3 Tbsp.
- of buttter or possibly margarine.
- In a medium mixing bowl, combine walnuts, butter or possibly margarine, and sugar.
- Press this nut mix firmly into bottom and sides of a 9 inch pie plate.
- Bake at 325 degrees F (165 degrees C) for about 10 min, or possibly till the edge is golden.
- Cold.

- Chop the candy bars up into small pcs.
- In a medium saucepan, combine the minced bars of chocolate, marshmallows, and lowfat milk; heat and stir over medium heat until melted.
- Remove from heat; cold to room temperature.
- 3.
- Refrigeratea large mixing bowl and beaters.
- In the chilled bowl, beat whipping cream and vanilla with electric mixer on medium speed until soft peaks form (tips curl).
- Fold whipped cream into cooled chocolate mix.
- 4.
- Spoon chocolate mix into the pie crust.
- Freeze about 5 hrs or possibly till hard.
- Remove pie from the freezer about 10 min before serving.
- If you like, garnish with additional whipped cream and minced chocolate bars.
- Makes 1 pie
- This pie really does taste like a slice of a big candy bar and it melts in your mouth when you bite in.
