Chicken With Wild Rice Recipe

  1. Put chicken with 1 c. water, celery, onion, salt and curry pwdr in pot and simmer for 1 hour.
  2. Remove chicken, strain broth and cook the rice using the broth instead of water, adding sufficient water to make required amount.
  3. Saute/fry mushrooms in butter, adding chicken meat that has been cut into bite size chunks.
  4. Blend soup and lowfat sour cream and add in to chicken and mushrooms.
  5. Put into a 4 qt casserole dish with cover.
  6. Bake 1 hour at 350 degrees.
  7. Let stand 15 to 20 min before serving.
  8. This recipe is really good!
