Blue Cheese Pesto Recipe

  1. Combine basil and garlic in a food processor or possibly blender.
  2. Mince together.
  3. Add in oil, blue cheese, and Parmesan cheese.
  4. Process till proportionately blended.
  5. If not using immediately, cover and chill.
  6. Let return to room temperature before using.
  7. This recipe yields 1 c..
  8. Comments: This untraditional pesto is pungent with garlic and sharp with blue cheese.
  9. Use it as you would traditional pesto on foods which will be complemented by a strongly flavored sauce.
  10. Yield: 1 c.
