Chinese Pepper Steak Recipe
- 1 pound top round steak
- 2 green peppers
- 1 c. diced celery
- 2 to 3 tbsp. diced onions
- 1 diced clove garlic
- 1 can beef consomme
- 2 tbsp. soy sauce
- 4 tbsp. cornstarch
- 4 tbsp. water
- Brown steak strips in 2 Tbsp.
- warm oil.
- Quickly add in vegetables and consomme, cover and simmer about 10 min.
- Add in soy sauce.
- Combine the water and cornstarch and add in it to thicken the liquid, simmer till thickened.
- Serve over warm rice.
