Meat Loaf, Italian Style Recipe
- 1 pound grnd beef
- 1/2 med. onion, minced
- 1/4 c. green pepper, minced
- 2 slices bread, crumbled
- 3/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon thyme
- 1/8 teaspoon garlic pwdr
- 1/2 teaspoon leaf oregano
- 1/4 c. minced parsley
- 1/4 c. grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 Large eggs, beaten
- In large bowl mix well all ingredients.
- Yes, it works best to squish it together with your fingers.
- Pack into foil lined 8"x4"x2" loaf pan.
- (If you use a 9"x5"x3" pan, use 1 1/2 recipes.)
- Bake in 375 degree oven for 45 min.
- Pour off drippings and let stand 10 min before you slice and serve.
