The Greasemeister
- 2 eggs
- 2 slices bread
- 2 slices deli meat (I used cotto salami)
- 2 slices cheese (I used provolone)
- 3 slices bacon
- 1 tablespoon butter
- 1 pinch salt
- 1 pinch pepper
- 1 tablespoon Grey Poupon
- Cut holes in the bread like you're making one-eyed egyptians and butter one side of each slice.
- Cover a skillet with nonstick cooking spray and put down the bread.
- Drop an egg into each hole, salt and pepper to taste and cook on high heat until the bottom half of the egg has cooked.
- In the meantime, fry the bacon in a separate skillet to your desired doneness.
- When the eggs have half cooked, flip the bread to briefly cook the other side for 30 seconds.
- Flip it back over, put the bacon on and turn off the heat.
- Now, put the deli meat in the bacon skillet and fry briefly.
- Flip once and put down the cheese on the meat.
- As the cheese is melting, make sure you get as much leftover bacon grease and bits ontop of the cheese.
- When it has melted well around the edges and just a tad in the middle, use a spatula to flip the meat and cheese combo onto the bread, so the cheese is facing the inside (less cooked) part of the one-eyed egyptian.
- Now spread the grey poupon on the deli meat, put the two sides together, and enjoy!
- Also, if you want to make this a "Healthy" greasemeister, you can use some Weight Watchers bread.
- It's only 45 calories a slice!
