Tom's Applesauce Chocolate Chip Cookies

  1. Heat oven to 375F (190C).
  2. Mix sugars, margarine, vanilla, and egg white in large bowl.
  3. Stir in flour, baking soda, and salt.
  4. Stir in chocolate chips.
  5. Drop dough by rounded teaspoonfuls about 2 inches apart onto ungreased cookie sheet.
  6. Bake 8 to 10 minutes or until golden brown.
  7. Cool slightly; remove from cookie sheet.
  8. Cool on wire rack.
  9. Make about 24 cookies.
