Vickys Cheese Straws, Gluten, Dairy, Egg & Soy-Free

  1. Preheat the oven to gas 6 / 2000C / 400F and line a baking sheet
  2. Mix the flour, starches and other dry ingredients together
  3. Add the butter and cheese and mix by hand to form a dough
  4. Break pieces off and roll into a straw shape
  5. Place on the baking sheet and bake for around 9 - 12 minutes or until lightly golden
  6. You can form balls and flatten them too.
  7. Give them an extra few minutes to bake
  8. Let cool on a wire rack once firmed up enough to move them
  9. Best eaten the same day.
  10. Dough can be frozen.
  11. The baked cheese straws/biscuits can be firmed up again with a few minutes back in the oven at the same temp
