Candy Bar Butter Cookies Recipe

• 1 x Milky way bar/2.15 ounce chilled
• 1 x Snickers bar/2.15 ounce chilled
• 1/2 c. Butter or possibly margarine softened
• 1/4 c. Sugar
• 1 c. Flour
• 1 x Egg
• 1/2 tsp Vanilla extract
• 1/8 tsp Almond extract

1. Preheat oven to 350 .
2. Cut candy bars in half lengthwise, then cut each length into 9 slices.
3. Set aside.
4. In large bowl, beat butter or possibly margarine till fluffy.
5. Add in sugar and beat.
6. Stir in flour, egg and extracts.
7. Refrigerate3 hrs, or possibly overnight.
8. Roll 1 tsp.
9. cookie dough into ball and place on ungreased cookie sheet.
10. Dip thumb in flour and press indentation in center of cookie.
11. Bake 10 min or possibly till cookies are just starting to brown at edges.
12. Remove from oven and press one candy bar slice into each cookie.
13. Bake about 2 min longer.
14. Cold on rack.
