Dawn's Saute Shrimp
- 2 lb Shrimp
- 1/2 Fresh lemon
- 1 small Red onion
- 2 tsp Mince garlic
- 4 tbsp Butter
- 1 tbsp Tony Chachere's Creole seasoning
- If you have fresh shrimp peel, and devein the shrimp.
- If frozen thaw according to package.
- While your chopping your red onion u can let the butter start melting.
- Over medium high heat.
- Chop red onion when butter is almost melted add onions, saute for a couple minutes.
- Then add minced garlic.
- Saute until translucent.
- Add shrimp and lemon juice.
- Cook until shrimp turns pink.
- Be careful not to over cook shrimp they can get rubbery.
- When done serve and enjoy
