Sweet & Salty Pork and Shimeji Mushrooms
- 200 grams Thinly sliced and chopped pork scraps
- 1 packet Shimeji mushrooms
- 2 tbsp each Soy sauce, sugar, mirin
- 2 1/2 tbsp Sake
- 1/2 tsp Grated ginger (can be ready-made in a tube)
- 1 White sesame seeds
- Remove the base from the shimeji mushrooms and shred them apart.
- Add all of the ingredients to a small pot and heat.
- Once boiling, add the pork and shimeji.
- Lower the heat down to low-medium, cover with a lid, and simmer until the liquid evaporates.
- Sprinkle with white sesame seeds to finish.
- If you put it on rice to make a rice bowl, it will be really tasty, so please try that too.
- If you want to make a lot, it will taste best if you double the seasoning ingredients.
- Use 300 g of meat, 1 pack of shimeji, and 1 onion.
