Simple Syrup (Non-Crystallizing Variation)

  1. Put all ingredients into a heavy sauce pan.
  2. Stir.
  3. Heat to boiling, stirring occasionally.
  4. Store in a lidded glass syrup bottle or other container.
  5. If bottling while hot, be sure to follow sensible precautions to protect yourself and others from burns, including covering exposed skin and making sure the vessel to which you are moving hot liquid is shatter-proof and tempered.
