Mini Caesar Bites
- 60 slices whole wheat baguettes (20 inch), cut into 1/2-inch-thck slices
- 1/2 cup Kraft Calorie-Wise Creamy Caesar Dressing
- 2 tsp. lemon zest
- 1 tsp. freshly ground black pepper
- 2 qt. romaine lettuce, finely shredded
- 1/2 cup Kraft Shredded Parmesan
- 4 slices reduced-sodium bacon, cooked, crumbled
- Place baguette slices in single layer in sheet pan.
- Bake in 425 degrees F (220 degrees C) standard oven 10 to 12 min.
- or until golden brown, turning after 5 min.
- Cool.
- Mix dressing, lemon zest and pepper.
- Refrigerate up to 24 hours.
- For each serving: Toss 3/4 oz.
- (20 g) lettuce with 1/4 oz.
- (7 g) dressing; spoon evenly onto 3 toast slices.
- Top each with 1/4 tsp.
- (1 mL) bacon and 1/2 tsp.
- (2 mL) cheese.
